October 25, 2017 - Drill Night at USREMS HQ. Members practiced their bandaging skills along with patient transport techniques including the use of the Scoop and Reeves stretchers.

On the 4th Wednesday of every month, members gather to train on various EMS topics in order to stay sharp and maintain proficiency in EMS skill sets.

October 21, 2017 - Exploring EMS Post 133 meets most Saturdays from 11am-1pm during the school year at the USRVAC HQ. Youth members ages 14-22 years old learn EMS skills to see if they like the EMS field. The post provides in-house CPR/AED Training.

Many continue their learning and become certified Emergency Medical Responders (EMR) and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT). Our Exploring program is sponsored by the S. Carol White EMS Academy through the Boy Scouts of America, Northern NJ Council. See for further information. Free training and college scholarships are available.

May 25, 2017 - Do you know how to help your pet in an emergency? The Upper Saddle River Volunteer Ambulance Corps is hosting a fundraiser Pet CPR & First Aid training course on Saturday, June 3rd from 9 AM to 1 PM at their building located at 378 W. Saddle River Rd in Upper Saddle River.

Taught with a “real world” approach by a 25+ year pre-hospital care provider and educator, the training is geared toward pet parents, pet care professionals, animal rescue volunteers and emergency service personnel. It includes lecture, demonstration and an emphasis on hands-on skills practice to ensure proficiency in the life saving skills taught.

Cost is $65.00 and includes a detailed handbook, certificate of completion and emergency muzzle. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Upper Saddle River Volunteer Ambulance Corps in their mission to aid the community. May 24, 2017 - USRVAC members came together to enjoy some camaraderie with food, fun and a great class presented by Dr.Mao and Dr. Sabo from Good Samaritan Hospital covering the administration of Epinephrine, Narcan, and a broad review of the State of New Jersey BLS protocols to ensure the scene stays secure and safe for all. 🚑

April 27, 2017 - USRVAC Ambulances 925 & 926 along with 7 members participated in a mock fatal motor vehicle accident at Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale along with mutual aid towns to show students the dangers of distracted driving and driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Crews assisted with moulage prior to the event and extricated one of the severely injured patients from the wreckage. The USRVAC crew members with their patient (left).
